A Training on “HIV/AIDS and human rights issues” was organized for police supervisors and managers

In order to ensure the State’s obligation to respect, protect and fulfill human rights, public servants shall uphold the free from discrimination and maintain privacy and confidentiality of any person, which in turn can prevent from any discrimination.

Therefore, the National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia has organized a training on HIV/AIDS and Human Rights, at request of Gal golomt national movement NGO, for over 20 police supervisors and managers from provinces and capital city on 20 March 2019. The training covered the international human rights treaties and principles that police shall apply in their work to protect health information of people with HIV/AIDS as well as to ensure their right to be free from discrimination.
