• National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia received A status based on accreditation from ICC SCA for the 3rd time

Regional training on “Labour rights” was organized in Zavkhan province

The joint training on "Labour rights" has been organized on an annual basis in regional areas of Mongolia. The training is co-organized by the National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia, Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions and the General Agency for Specialized Inspection, with the financial support of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation of the Federal Republic of Germany, in Zavkhan province from 10-11 October 2018.

The training involved around 60 participants including local officers of the National Human Rights Commission, Confederations of Mongolian Trade Unions, and heads, activists, members of branch committees of trade unions, and State Senior Inspectors of General Agency for Specialized Inspection from four western provinces, namely Zavkhan, Bayan-Ulgii, Govi-Altai, Uvs and Khovd. The main purpose of this training is to provide opportunities for trade union members and State Senior Inspectors to exchange information on current challenges in relation to implementation of human rights and labour rights as well as labour inspection and to identify potential future cooperation and to develop action plans.
