The training-of-trainers on gender and human rights was held in central region

Within the framework of UNDP funded "Towards a professional and citizen-centred civil service” project to be implemented from 2018-2021, the training-of-trainers on gender and human rights involved human resource officers of public administration of 21 provinces since June 2018. The Commission’s working group headed by Commissioner Oyunchimeg Purev organized a training-of-trainers on "Gender and Human Rights” in Orkhon province on 29 and 30 October, 2018.

It is crucial to provide human rights and gender training to human resource and genderofficers working in civihttp://127.0.0.1:8000/admin/pages/247/edit/#l service of rural areas, so that they canfurther conduct a training for other local civil servants on their own about their roles and responsibilities in promoting gender equality and contributing to gender mainstreaming in public sector. Therefore, we prepared 20 trainers from the rural administrative and human resource officials.

In addition, the Commission’s working group organized the same training for civil servants in central region provinces, namely Selenge, Darkhan-Uul and Tuv on 1 and 2 November 2018.

The western, eastern and gobi region provinces now have newly trained 300 training-of-trainers on gender and human rights. So far, 420 civil servants are trained as training-of-trainers on gender and human rights nationwide.
