On 20-27 August 2021, a capacity building training series were held for staff of the NHRCM, with support of UNFPA, UNDP and IOM, in Ulaanbaatar.

The workshop covered “Business and Human rights”, “Reproductive health rights as human rights”, “Human rights impact assessment” and “International migration” subjects. More than 50 staff members of the Commission, including 21 staff members from the local provinces participated in the workshop and improved their skills and knowledge.
The NHRCM organizes capacity building training workshop for its staff on an annual basis. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, several training workshops have been postponed. Therefore, this year the workshop covered a wide range of topics over a five-day period, which was the first training workshop since the new Commissioners were appointed.
