With the support of the Embassy of France in Mongolia, Dr.Enkhbold Batzeveg, Commissioner of the National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia visited and worked in France from the 10th to the 20th of November.
During the official visit, Commissioner B. Enkhbold held a meeting with H.E. U.Nyamkhuu, the Ambassador of Mongolia in France to discuss the human right issues in France, and other regions of Europe. In addition to that, he participated in a workshop on Corruption: Detection, Prevention and Suppression at the French National School for the Judiciary with more than 50 judges and prosecutors from 17 countries, and gained experience on an international level. He also held a meeting with the Deputy Director of the French National School for the Judiciary- Elie Renard, and the manager of the International Training- Emile Brennan, introducing the new structure, composition, legal reform and its viewpoint. Moreover, he made suggestions on strengthening the skills of the NHRCM employees and enrolling the judicial and law enforcement workers in a training regarding the issue of protecting human rights during an investigation of certain crimes. He also made suggestions on working together on implementing projects and programs, as well as introduced and handed the 19th and the 20th Report on Human Rights and Freedom in Mongolia.
