Mongolia and Singapore Public Service Leaders share experiences in delivering public services

Commissioner Oyunchimeg Purev along with other public authorities paid a visit to the Republic of Singapore to study its Civil Service System including the Civil Service Council, the Public Service Division and Public Service Commission, and the Civil Service College of Singapore from 6-11 October, 2018.

This study tour is being organized within the framework of the project called "Towards a professional and citizen-centred civil service in Mongolia”, funded by the Government of Canada and UNDP, which is to be implemented from 2018-2021.

As the NHRC of Mongolia is one of the implementing parties of the project, the Commission has been organizing a gender and human rights training-of-trainers in regional areas by involving public servants working in each 21 provinces of Mongolia. It aims to support the creation of professional civil service in Mongolia and to raise public servants’ awareness of their duties in relation to gender equality and human rights and to build a capacity of human resources of public service through training, and handbook and leaflets produced by the Commission.
