Munkhzul Khurelbaatar: Protecting girls’ rights is an issue we must pay attention to together

Commemorating International Day of the Girl and within the framework of the social target program Cancer-free Mongolian Women, a program organizer started to install “Precious” boxes in the dormitories of the secondary schools of the 330 sums of Mongolia. The opening of the event, initiated by the Mongolian Women’s Federation, was held on 12 October 2022 in the State Palace.

Representatives from provinces, sums, capital, and districts of 1000 girls and boys; Munkhzul Khurelbaatar, Commissioner of the NHRCM; Batdorj. G, the Director of the Family, Child, and Youth Development Agency; Erdenekhuu.Ts, the Director of the National Cancer Center; Oyungerel. B, the Mongolian Women’s Federation President, and others participated in the opening ceremony.

During the opening ceremony, Commissioner Munkhzul Khurelbaatar especially noted that the protection of girls' rights is not only an issue of organizations working in that field, human rights organizations, or countries where girls' rights are seriously violated. Protecting girls’ rights is an issue we must pay attention to together.
