Through this year’s Meeting member NHRIs of the Asia Pacific Forum and NGOs of Forum Asia discussed common issues emerging before the regional NHRIs and NGOs and exchanged views on further prospective cooperation.

In addition, the member institutions discussed the requests of Human rights Institute of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Independent High Commissionfor Human Rights of Iraq for correspondent membership and studies on abolition of death penalty conducted at regional level, and the regional NHRIs agreed to take efforts and provide support.
